In London, we have worked on the luxurious theatre at the Ham Yard Hotel, as well as 4 screening rooms at the Soho Hotel, Charlotte Street Hotel and Covent Garden Hotel. In New York, we have worked on 2 state-of-the-art theatres, in both the Crosby Street Hotel and the Whitby Hotel.

OUR ROLE

Greenway Associates were provided Quantity Surveying services and Construction Management on the Ham Yard Theatre, and Quantity Surveying for the 5 other theatres. Mark Greenway, James Denby and Daniel Reid led these projects.

THE PROJECT

LONDON
Ham Yard Theatre is a state-of-the-art theatre that seats 190. The walls are lined with electric blue wool, and both the lower level and dress circle balcony feature tangerine orange leather seats. The cinema was designed with celebrity premieres in mind, and so they also feature two beautifully appointed green rooms complete with mini bar, shower, sofa and desk, and secure entry and exit points. It has hosted the premieres for box office hits such as La La Land, Misbehaviour, All My Sons and Knives Out.

The Soho Hotel features 2 screening rooms. Screening room 1 seats 100, whereas the more intimate screening room 2 seats just 45 and is decked out in plush cow hide leather seats by Poltrona Frau. The Charlotte Street Hotel features a screening room that seats 75, and features orange leather seating, also by Poltrona Frau. The Covent Garden Hotel features another intimate screening room, that sits just 47.

NEW YORK
The Whitby Theatre is a state-of-the-art screening room with 130 comfortable leather seats, and it features the most advanced Dolby Atmos technology in sound and projection and the latest digital capabilities, including 3D. The Crosby Hotel features a state-of-the-art screening room with 99 seats, the most advanced technology in sound and projection and the latest digital capabilities, also including 3D.
