Soholistic Spas are part of the facilities available at 4 of the Firmdale Hotels. Firmdale’s flagship hotel Ham Yard has 2 individual treatment rooms, 1 double treatment room, a relaxation space, a steam room, showers and changing areas. The Haymarket Hotel, the Soho Hotel and the Covent Garden Hotel all have beautifully appointed treatment rooms.

OUR ROLE

Greenway Associates provided Quantity Surveying and Construction Management for the Soholistic Spa at Ham Yard, and Quantity Surveying for all other Soholistic Spas. Mark Greenway, James Denby & Dan Reid led these projects at different times.

THE PROJECT

All of the Soholistic Spa’s are set in some of the busiest locations in London. Designer Kit Kemp had an exacting vision for these spas, all with the aim of transporting the guest from the hustle and bustle of London to a relaxed and calm zone.

The spa at Ham Yard features bathrooms and shower rooms covered with Firmdale’s signature marble. All rooms are sound proofed to ensure guests are not bothered by any outside noise, and all 4 spas have adjoining access to gyms. To add a little extra to the experience at Ham Yard, the spa features a hypoxic studio which can set the oxygen levels to 2,000 metres above sea level, for workout sessions in a challenging climate and altitude. The Ham Yard spa also features a standalone nail salon and refreshments bar.
